Q. How long will you need my car?
A. 4-6 hours.
Q. Can I have heated seats added to
one seat?
A. Yes.
Q. Will the heated seat interfere with
my side air bags?
A. No. However, additional care is
needed on the part of the technician during installation.
Q. Can I add heated seats to my cloth
interior?
A. Yes they work very well with cloth
and leather.
Q. Will the heated seats cause a drain
on my battery?
A. No. They draw very little
electricity and will shut of automatically when the car is shut
off.
Q. What is the warranty?
A. 3 years, 36,000 miles.
Q. Will it start a fire?
A. No.
Q. Will it void my warranty?
A. No. The heaters are approved by all
manufacturers except for Honda and Acura.
Q. Will it have an adverse affect on
my upholstery?
A. No.
Q. If the seat is turned on when my
car is shut off, will it come back on when the car is started?
A. Yes or no. Yes if you install the
“luxury” seat heaters, no if you install the “premium” seat heaters.
Q. Do I need to make an appointment?
A. Yes. The seat sets are custom
tailored and have to be ordered by car. It takes 1-2 days to get the
parts.
Q. Can all cars have seat heaters
installed?
A. No. About 85% of the cars on the
road can have seat heaters installed. Some newer cars are not
compatible due to the occupant sensors for the air bags. We can look
up each car to determine compatibility.
